External Award: MSFHR Postdoctoral Fellowship 2017

Applications are now open for MSFHR’s Health Policy Fellowship, a salary award for BC health researchers who want to contribute their research expertise to the health policy development process at the provincial government or health authority level.

The Health Policy Fellowship, designed for highly-qualified trainees at the post-doctoral level, provides a unique opportunity to support both evidence-informed policy and policy-relevant research by fostering collaboration between BC’s health researchers and health system decision-makers. The program is part of MSFHR’s suite of new programs, created to address priorities and gaps in BC’s health research and innovation ecosystem.

Currently, there are six short-term (up to 12 month) policy assignments available at one of the province’s health authorities or within the BC Ministry of Health. These assignments address BC’s health system priority areas and the First Nations Health Authority directives and mandate.

There is a webinar on how to apply for MSFHR's Health Policy Fellowship on Tuesday, March 7, 2107. Email healthpolicyfellow@msfhr.org to reserve a spot.

Application deadline is April 3, 2017
