3MT 2017: Maggie Cascadden

SFU's Three Minute Thesis (3MT) finals this year took place on March 27th, 2017 in the Big Data Hub Theatre. Maggie Cascadden presented "Best Practices for Impact Benefit Agreements". Her supervisor is Dr. Tom Gunton.

Maggie is a Master of Resource and Environmental Management student with a focus on Environmental Resource Management, Planning, and Policy Analysis. Before coming to SFU, she received her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences Honours in Sustainability, Science, and Society with a minor in Geography from McGill University.

During her studies, Maggie also served as the President of the Resource and Environmental Management Student Union. She is currently a Research Associate for the Canadian International Resource Development Institute
