Mitacs Accelerate has three new internship opportunities for Post-Docs and PhDs in Education, Psychology, and Computer Science or Mathematics. These projects are for 4-6 months in Vancouver. General requirements for each position is listed below. 

Educating Youth About Financial Responsibility

  • Additional expertise and skills related to Psychology or Behavioral (Social) Sciences / work experience in these areas is an asset
  • Any work or educational experience that includes working with parents (Moms and Dads) as well as the youth would be beneficial

Reinforced Learning of Financial Responsibility by Youth Within the Home

  • Additional expertise and skills related to Psychology or Behavioral (Social) Sciences / work experience in these areas is an asset
  • Any work or educational experience that includes working with parents (Moms and Dads) as well as the youth would be beneficial

Creating a Seamless Way to Gather, Monitor, and Analyze Youth Habits for Finances

  • A.I. & machine learning
  • Financial background expertise would be considered favouravly
  • Any software engineering, front-end and back-end development skills are preferred, but not required (conversational or technical), C++
