External Award: Indspire's Building Brighter Futures Program

Indspire's Building Brighter Futures Program is offering a number of bursaries and scholarships to Indigenous students studying in graduate degree programs.

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Canadian Indigenous person
  • Enrolled at an accredited post-secondary institution, professional development, traditional knowledge program or arts training
  • Enrolled full-time
  • Financial need
  • Not a member of the staff, board, or jury at the time of applying for the support; 
  • Study outside of Canada is considered only at the graduate level. (Masters and PhD only)

Application deadline is August 1, November 1, and February 1 of every year. For more information, please see their website.

    The Visiting Scholarships are intended to give researchers at any level access to the University of St Andrews Library's extensive Special Collections. Successful candidates will receive financial support up to a maximum of £1,500 to cover travel and accommodation for a period of 2-8 weeks between July 1 and August 31, 2018. Apply by January 12, 2018.
