Job Posting: Research Coordinator/Assistant for Commercial Tobacco Control Project
SFU's Faculty of Health Sciences and the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) are looking for a 3-year, full-time research coordinator/assistant to act as the administrative manager for a project funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).
The goal of this project is to strengthen commercial tobacco control strategies in Aboriginal communities through a community-led consultation and production of comprehensive and culturally-appropriate control measures.
- completed undergraduate or graduate degree relevant to public health with preference given to expertise in Aboriginal or Indigenous Peoples' health
- minimum two years experience (with graduate degree) or five years (with undergraduate degree) of research project management
This position is based at SFU Burnaby, and offers an annual salary of $51,126–$57,991 per year.
