External Award: Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) – New Zealand

Universities New Zealand – Te Pōkai Tara has launched a competition under the Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP) – New Zealand for up to 8 Canadian students or researchers to pursue doctoral studies (of all disciplines) that lead to a degree in New Zealand.

The deadline ends July 10, 2018 11:59 PM (EDT).

The scholarship generally includes:

  • Airfare to New Zealand
  • Approved tuition and compulsory fees
  • Medical and travel insurance
  • Annual grant

The scholarships are tenable at the following New Zealand universities:


  • Applicants must be Canadian citizens; and
  • Have completed an undergraduate degree with a minimum (A-) average or equivalent.
