Join CIHR for a webinar Tuesday, August 21st, 2018 from 12:00-1:00 PM (EDT), to learn more about the Indigenous gender and wellness initiative and the application process for the travel award. At the end of the webinar, there will be an opportunity to take part in a live Q&A session.

Do you have an idea or potential project related to gender that could improve wellness in your community?

The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) has launched Travel Awards for the Idea Fair and Learning Circle event on “Indigenous Gender and Wellness”. This will provide an opportunity for Indigenous Peoples and allies to meet each other, share their ideas and goals about Indigenous gender and wellness and to work with supporters who can help them turn their idea into a fundable project.

Indigenous young adults (aged 18-30) are especially encouraged to apply.

Applicants do not need prior research experience to be eligible. You can apply to present your ideas or apply as a supporting individual to help others develop their ideas.

The Travel Award request for applications is now open. Find application information on the this website.
