The Canadian Association for Girls In Science (CAGIS) is seeking new chapter volunteers and a new co-coordinator in Vancouver!

CAGIS is an award winning not-for-profit science club for girls age 7-16.  Chapters hold monthly events at the workplaces of women and men in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields to do entertaining hands-on activities.  Some of the work chapter volunteers help with are planning and organizing regular STEM events, in addition to helping out at the STEM events. This is a great chance to provide girls a glimpse into what they can possibly explore. It is an opportunity not found in a traditional classroom.

If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Reizel Balmes at cagis.van@gmail.com.
