SAGE (Supporting Aboriginal Graduate Enhancement) is inviting applications from Indigenous graduate students to support leadership, mentoring and communication activities in the role of SAGE Provincial Coordinator. 

Start Date: September 01, 2018 
End Date: March 15, 2019
Salary: $25/hr
Time Commitment: 5 hours/week
Deadline: no deadline, open until filled

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise between Vancouver SAGE and other SAGE pods in the province and beyond BC 
  • Create monthly SAGE Digest (September to March) and manage gradsage.com blog 
  • Manage and communicate activities of the SAGE list-serve 
  • Facilitate mentoring opportunities for Indigenous graduate students 
  • Assist with the Vancouver SAGE meetings at UBC Campus 
  • Assist with the planning and organization of the annual Indigenous Graduate Student Symposium (IGSS) 
  • Organize and coordinate a database 
  • Coordinate and lead meetings and mentoring activities
