Managing Your Progress

As a graduate student, your goal is the expeditious completion of your degree program while maintaining high academic standards.

Your progress toward degree completion should be monitored closely through the establishment of a realistic timetable and frequent communication with your senior supervisor, graduate program secretary or program assistant, and/or your department's graduate program committee as necessary. 

When creating your plan for completing your graduate degree, please keep in mind the following Graduate General Regulations:

If your graduate degree involves certain types of experimental procedures, please leave adequate time (can be up to a semester) to get approvals through the following Research Policies:
