Anna Marie says, "While I am at SFU I’ll be researching and making art about words. My practice is painting language and my overall project is to determine what is at stake when paint and language are invested in the same surface. My plan is to figure out what material solutions are the best ones for representing language, especially poetic language and even poetry."
