Juan's PhD research on the bioaccumulation and health effects of organic pollutants in marine biodiversity and wildlife has taken him from the Galapagos Islands, where he was an Adjunct Scientist at the Charles Darwin Foundation, to the west coast of BC, where he studied the effects of pollution on killer whales and Steller sea lions.
