The Centre for Accessible Learning is dedicated to the overall academic development, retention and personal growth of all students at SFU. This includes a commitment to the continual improvement of educational accessibility for students with disabilities.
They provide disability related information, support, and counselling to the SFU community and campus visitors. They review eligible students' disability documentation and recommend reasonable academic accommodations to offset the effects of their disability on academic life.
They will act as liaisons between students and faculty in the implementation of disability related services and accommodations. Additionally, they advocate on issues related to diversity, educational equity and academic achievement.
