Imagine BC: Dialogues on the Future of British Columbia is a five-year futures project convened by Simon Fraser University's Wosk Centre for Dialogue. The dialogue series aims to involve leaders from diverse sectors in the province in examining BC's possible futures 30 years out. Our themes are economic prosperity, environmental sustainability and healthy communities.

Imagine BC Public Dialogue

Friday March 27 11:30 am – 2:30 pm

Join us for this stimulating gathering at SFU’s Wosk Centre for Dialogue for our annual Imagine BC public dialogue with CBC Radio's BC Almanac. Mark Forsythe is moderating this live broadcast. This year we explore how to create resilience in health, habitat and livelihoods in BC, and invite stories of what individuals, organizations and institutions are doing NOW around BC to create a resilient future.

Linking Social and Ecological Resilience to Strengthen the Environment
with Dr. Francis Westley

Taking place on September 10, 2008, this workshop created an opportunity for leaders from the social, economic and environmental sectors to explore the meaning and implications of resilience theory as it informs ecological, social and economic change.
