The dialogue series aims to involve leaders from diverse sectors in the province in examining BC's possible futures 30 years out. This year we explore how to create resilience in health, habitat and livelihoods in BC, and invite stories of what individuals, organizations and institutions are doing NOW around BC to create a resilient future. Registration is free, but seating is limited. International Climate Impacts and Responses and the Future of BC On November 20, ACT and Imagine BC joined forces to examine climate change globally and the implications for our own climate future. Linking Social and Ecological Resilience to Strengthen the Environment Taking place on September 10, 2008, this workshop created an opportunity for leaders from the social, economic and environmental sectors to explore the meaning and implications of resilience theory as it informs ecological, social and economic change.
