CONSULTATION (SPECIAL PROJECTS)

SFU can provide practical support to others in their use of dialogue. The university contributes its expertise in dialogue facilitation, event planning, leadership training, meeting advice and design, strategic planning and research to assist groups in producing dialogue-based programming for internal or public initiatives.

Intro to Multiculturalism

SFU's Dialogue Programs has convened a series of Multiculturalism dialogues in thirteen BC communities, funded by the BC Ministry of the Attorney General's Multicultural and Settlement Division. As dialogue is predicated upon openness, listening, and making meaning together, it is a productive approach for exploring the rich potential for finding shared solutions to the problems within Canada's multicultural reality. In each community, citizens are guided to seek mutual understanding through non-confrontational discussion.
