Application
The Undergraduate Semester in Dialogue is open to students from all departments and faculties who have completed 45 credit hours prior to beginning the UGSD program. The Fall and Spring semester is a 15-credit curriculum and the Summer semester is a 10-credit curriculum. The UGSD program fulfills SFU writing and breadth/social sciences requirements. Students should consult with their major Department prior to their Dialogue semester to determine how DIAL credits fulfill major, minor, or elective course requirements. The semester also can be taken post-graduation as a special student, and credits can be applied towards a post-baccalaureate diploma.
For information about topic and content for each semester, visit the courses section of our website, and for general information about the program, see the about section. The Undergraduate Semester in Dialogue is offered at SFU Vancouver at the downtown Harbour Centre campus.
