Imagine Abbotsford 2006: Ecology and Economy

September 22 and 23, 2006

Twenty-two creative leaders with diverse backgrounds assembled for a day and a half to take part in a dialogue about Abbotsford’s future. The discussion was framed by the Imagine BC Year Two theme of Ecology and Economy. The participants began by sharing their reflections on their personal connection to the Abbotsford area. They continued the discussion by looking at some of the social, environmental and economic issues facing the region. Then, they turned their attention to the future of the region by engaging questions about their greatest hopes, fears and dreams for the future of Abbotsford. These dialogue sessions are captured in the Imagine Abbotsford 2006 Consensus Report.
