Programs > Regional Dialogues > CowichanLeaders Reflect on the Future of the Cowichan Region July 22 and 23, 2006 Building on the Social Planning Cowichan Forum, Food Security Forums and Visions 2020, creative local leaders from the Cowichan region gathered to consider the future of their communities. The discussion was framed by the Imagine BC Year Two theme of Ecology and Economy. Participants engaged questions about their natural environment, their culture, their economy, and the hopes, concerns and dreams for pointing their region in a good direction for the future. These dialogue sessions are captured in the Imagine the Cowichan Consensus Report.
