Imagine BC and North Coast Community Assets Convene a Dialogue to Consider Prince Rupert's Future

January 19 - 20, 2007

At the Museum of Northern BC by Prince Rupert's spectacular waterfront, participants from the social service, banking, educational, union, environmental, recreational, and government sectors set aside the demands of their roles and organizations, as well as their assumptions about the region, and made room for new dreams, ideas, and possibilities for the Northwest Coast.

With different points of view but a shared commitment to their community, there was a sense of hope as well as urgency among those who sat around the table to ask one another, "Where are we going as a community?" and to listen to the answers.

Please read more about these discussions in the Imagine Prince Rupert Consensus Report.
