Undergraduate Courses
Dialogue courses at SFU give students the opportunity to learn through personal interaction with committed leaders from all sectors of the community and to apply what they learn to effective action. Featured programs are the Undergraduate Semester in Dialogue and the Minor in Dialogue.
Undergraduate Dialogues
As part of their curriculum each semester, the students in the Undergraduate Semester in Dialogue organize and facilitate a public dialogue event pertaining to their courses' current public issue.
Professional Development / Capacity Building
SFU's Dialogue Programs offers a diploma program, workshops and courses to professionals interested in developing their abilities to communicate constructively with colleagues and clients. Programs include the Diploma in Dialogue and Negotiation and the Dialogue Makers' Series.
Convening Dialogues (Conferences and Events)
The university is dedicated to encouraging meaningful and participatory public discourse, deliberation and decision-making. We convene dialogue events on a range of topics, including Imagine BC and the Undergraduate Dialogues.
Special Events / Consultation
SFU provides consultation services to support dialogue initiatives in the community, business and government and research related to the use of dialogue in effecting change.
