Research Interests

Laura is a glaciologist working with Dr. Gwenn Flowers to assess the changing thermal regime of mountain glaciers in the Canadian high Arctic using a combination of field observations and modelling. At White Glacier on Axel Helberg Island, Nunavut, Laura leads the mass balance monitoring program and field-based measurements of ice velocities and elevation change.
