Engaged SFU Graduate Student Macus Ong to present his research for the International Seabird Conference 

Macus Ong is a graduate student in the SFU and BCIT Master of Science in Ecological Restoration program. Macus has a passion for the environment and expressing his work through photography. 

Macus will be presenting his research on "Photogrammetric Monitoring Of Double-Crested Cormorants Nesting Sites On IronWorkers Memorial Bridge in Vancouver" at the International Seabird Conference on February 25 along with several other presenters. Macus will discuss his examinations of the different seabirds and how nesting for these birds has been prevalent on many urban bridges over the ocean in Vancouver. Macus's photographic work focuses on the nest sites and habitats and how bridges have an effect on nesting.
