Xiaoting Sun joins the Department of Economics as an Assistant Professor
This fall, Xiaoting Sun will be joining the Department of Economics. Her area of research is in Econometrics, Xiaoting completed her MA and BA in economics and BS in management at Peking University, Beijing, China. Then proceeded to get her Ph.D. from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), USA. During her time at UCLA she received a best paper award in econometrics, being the only recipient in the field of econometrics. read more

Dongwoo Kim joins the Department of Economics
Dongwoo Kim will be joining the Department of Economics at Simon Fraser University this July as an assistant professor. Most recently, he was a teaching assistant at University College London in England, where he earned his master’s of science (2014), his master’s of research (2015) and his PhD (2019) all in economics. read more
