Are you looking for some fascinating economics courses to take?

ECON 182: Economics in Literature

This course will be taught by award-winning professor and research faculty, Dr. Douglas Allen. If you want to learn about economics but in a more literary form, eschewing the use of formal models, graphs, and mathematics, then this course is for you.

Using only short stories, novel excerpts, and poetry, this course will explore how economic concepts, often learned through formal models, can manifest in words and literature. It will also introduce students unfamiliar with economic concepts to a wide range of economic ideas through literature.
