Curriculum Theory & Implementation: Philosophy of Education PhD

Philosophy is a radical practice. It is a way of being rooted in calling out and responding to the world. This PhD program with an emphasis on Philosophy of Education is hence both a call and a response to those who wish to engage in a radical approach to understanding and transforming education.

Designed to attract educators who are interested in studying philosophical texts and contexts pertaining to educational studies from:

  • diverse professional fields
  • communities
  • teaching and leadership positions

Students will apply knowledge, sensibility, skills and dispositions of philosophical inquiry, analysis, and interpretation to their research topics and to their educational practices.
