OVERVIEW

Our Master of Education (MEd) degree is a coherent program of study integrating theory with practice as well as an opportunity to engage in your own research project. (See research projects by former students.) Develop your research capacities and leadership skills as they apply to post-secondary contexts.

  • undertake a philosophical and historical examination of education and education systems situated in BC, Canada, North America and globally
  • engage in theory, research, policy and practice relating to historical and current issues in education
  • explore current leadership theory and research
  • develop your abilities to lead effectively and make carefully considered, evidence-based decisions
