OVERVIEW

Graduate degrees in education aren't solely for teachers. A grad degree in Education at Simon Fraser University (SFU) can help you advance your career, no matter what that career is.

This MEd program in Educational Leadership will be held at Yukon College and is designed for students to:

  • develop an understanding of scholarship, central issues, challenges and opportunities in research, theory and practice in the field of leadership in diverse educational contexts found in schools, universities, non-profits and industry
  • critically engage, reflect on, and apply the research, theory and practice of educational leadership in their fields of interest and expertise
  • apply and integrate leadership research and theory in professional practice

Ideally Suited For

Practicing educators in the post-secondary, K–12 systems (e.g. private, public, alternative schools) or non-profit organizations.
