After receiving the External Review Report, academic units are required to study the results and propose a set of Actions. The purpose of these Actions is to outline the steps that will be taken to implement the combined feedback of the External Reviewers and the members of the unit.
Proposed Actions will address changes both large and small, such as to
- Course content
- Degree requirements
- Course offerings
- Assignments, student testing and feedback
- Definitions of Educational Goals
- Educational Goals assessment processes
What happens after Action?
The Educational Goals Assessment Cycle is a dynamic, iterative process which is future-oriented. After the Action phase, Educational Goals should be reevaluated and redefined if necessary, and the process begins again.
