Format
Graduates of this program receive a Master of Education (M.Ed., without thesis) or a Master of Arts (M.A., with thesis).

Consortium - Universities in Western Canada
Students have the option of substituting the SFU directed readings course EDUC 705 with one of the courses offered by the Consortium des établissements universitaires de l’Ouest canadien (www.medouest.ca)
International option - France
Students have the option of substituting the SFU directed readings course EDUC 705 with one of the online courses offered by the Université du Maine in Le Mans or the Université François-Rabelais in Tours in the Master en Didactique du français langue étrangère (FLE) program.

Tuition and fees (subject to change)
For each of the six semesters, students pay approximately $1,629 in tuition fees. The total program cost is approximately $9,800. In addition, students pay a one-time registration fee of $90 as well as student fees every semester (student services and activities, gym, etc). Bursary
BC teachers registered in a Master’s programs taught entirely in French are eligible for the Ministry of Education French Teacher Bursary. The bursary amounts to $3,000 over two years. Download the bursary application form (PDF).
