Custom programs can be created for any duration, starting at a minimum of 4 weeks. Start dates are flexible, depending on classroom availability.
The standard program is 25 class hours per week. Classes run 9:30am to 4:20pm Monday and Wednesday, 9:30am to 3:20pm Tuesday and Thursday, and 9:30am to 12:20pm Fridays.
Classes are held at the SFU Vancouver Campus.
For custom groups, ELC requires a minimum of 15 students per class group, and a maximum of 17.
Program Tuition
Base tuition for 4-week custom programs is a total of $22,500 (based on a group of up to 15 students). Tuition will be adjusted according to the level of customization.
Tuition includes applicable entrance fees for all field trips, a completion certificate, as well as course materials. Students supply their own paper, pens, notebooks, etc. Completion certificates will be awarded to all participants who successfully complete the program.

Airport pick-up: $100

Medical Insurance: $60 (for 1 month)
Ideally, medical insurance should be arranged before the students leave their home country. Upon request, ELC can arrange for medical insurance through David Cummings Insurance Services. For more information, click here.
Transit pass: $110 (2 zones, for 1 month)
Transit passes can be bought upon arrival in Vancouver. Click here for more information.
SFU ID card: $20
ID cards are optional. They can be arranged through ELC upon request.
Farewell Luncheon: $40 (student only) $135 (student plus up to 3 homestay members)
A luncheon can be arranged through ELC upon request.
Special Request Field Trips: Variable cost.
