Rick Hansen Institute supports research into spinal cord injury diagnostics

Engineering science professor Teresa Cheung has received funding from a joint initiative of the Rick Hansen Institute, IC-IMPACTS and the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre to further the development of a portable scanner for real-time evaluation of spinal cord function. Cheung is one of five recipients of the award, and will collaborate with associate professor Rohit Sharma, of the Indian Institute of Technology — Ropar.
