Suggestions for Further Reading

I’ve grouped the suggestions for further reading under the three categories we used throughout the course for convenience sake – many of these writers could fit under more than one category. I’ve also simply given you the authors’ names rather than titles – you can find the titles by going to the library catalogue at your local public library. Where an author has more than one series that I’ve read and want to recommend, I provide the series name.

Please note that this is an idiosyncratic list – it is who I’ve read or who I like, rather than an authoritative list of who critics agree we should be reading.
