DISC 2 108
Research Interest: Sediment dynamics of large sand-bedded rivers with a focus in sedimentation patterns, anthropogenic impacts and bedform spatial variability.
Research Interest: The link between morphology and hydraulics in bedrock canyons using field data from the Fraser River.
DISC 2 108
Research Interest: Fluvial geomorphology, with a focus on bedrock rivers and the morphology of naturally occurring hydraulic barriers to salmon migration.
Research Interest: How the dynamics of soil hydrology change after wildfires with applications for post-wildfire debris flow predictions.
Research Interest: Photo-monitoring the species of special concern, the Double-crested Cormorant, within the Strait of Georgia to understand nest success rates.
Research Interest: Modeling river channel processes in the laboratory using flumes, currently focused on the evolution of canyons in bedrock rivers.
Research Interest: How does patterned ground in the High Arctic form and evolve? What influences do polygons exert on local fluvial systems?
