Graduate Program Committee (GPC)
The Graduate Program Committee (GPC) at the School of Sustainable Energy Engineering is the administrative body responsible for overseeing the graduate programs. These programs include the Master of Applied Science (MASc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees, all of which are crucial in nurturing the next generation of experts in sustainable energy engineering.
Key areas of responsibility and oversight by the GPC include Admissions, Required Curriculum and Technical Elective Courses, Procedures and Process Development, Awards and Scholarships, Curriculum Development, Degree Completion and Graduation.
The committee works closely with the Graduate Student Association to address issues and concerns related to the cohort of graduate students. This collaboration ensures that the student body's needs and feedback are considered in program improvements and decision-making processes.
GPC is not involved in teaching assistant assignments, or in individual student research activities or scholarship support.
