The Director, Research and Communications works with FASS researchers and the Associate Research Grants Facilitator to develop competitive research grant applications. She also assists in the development of interdisciplinary, interdepartmental, and inter-university research teams.

Associate Research Grants Facilitator
The Associate Research Grants Facilitator works with FASS researchers and the Director, Research and Communications to develop competitive research grant applications. She monitors and evaluates new developments and opportunities for funding, and matches funding opportunities with faculty members’ interests.

Associate Dean, Research
The Associate Dean, Research oversees Faculty research matters including approvals for proposals (e.g., signatures). He also advises on and interprets research policies for FASS faculty.

Faculty Research Liaison Officer
The Faculty Research Liaison Officer (FRLO) serves on the University Publication Grants Committee, and chairs the SSHRC Institutional Grants committee (which adjudicates Small SSHRC grants, SSHRC 4A grants and travel grants) and the Arts Research Incentive Grants Committee.
