exchange program at a francophone institution in Quebec or Europe.

An option that allows students to take courses taught in French.

OUR MISSION

Our mission at Simon Fraser University is to offer students from French Immersion and Francophone programs the opportunity to pursue post-secondary education in French in British Columbia.

The Office of Francophone and Francophile Affairs (OFFA), inaugurated in 2004, is jointly funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage and the BC Ministry of Education. Its mission is to develop, coordinate and promote programs and courses taught in French at Simon Fraser University in order to meet the post-secondary education needs of Francophone and Francophile communities in BC. OFFA also organizes cultural activities designed to promote the value of French both on and off campus.
