About the Host
The Conference is hosted by the Simon Fraser University Gerontology Research Centre (GRC). The GRC was established in 1982 with a mandate to conduct, foster and facilitate research on individual and population aging. Its research is organized around five themes: aging and the built environment; health and aging; prevention of exploitation and victimization of the elderly; changing demography and lifestyles; and technology and aging. The associated Department of Gerontology, established in 1983, offers PhD and Masters degrees, a post-baccalaureate diploma and an undergraduate minor. Click here For further information.
