A Master Class will take place in St. Petersburg, in conjunction with ISG2018. Dates are May 10-11. Location: Hilton Bayfront Hotel. Click here for program and an application. Deadline for submission of an application is March 31, 2018.
Travel Funding for ISG2018
While no travel funding is available from the Conference Organizing Committee, the following are funding sources that students should explore:
Developing nations travel grants
Herman Bouma Foundation Fund for Gerontechnology - this fund, established in honor of ISG Grandmaster Herman Bouma, explictely funds conference travel by students and junior faculty. Visit the website for details on eligibility and the application process.
The Royal Academy of Engineering see Schemes for Students
Wellcome Trust see Scheme Finder - while travel to conferences and workshops is not a stand-alone category there may be opportunities within other categories to attend ISG2018.
British Academy - same as above - no targeted fund for conference travel but there may be opportunities in other categories

IEEE offers a number of student travel grants to assist student members to attend conferences and present papers/

Many universities offer conference travel grants to graduate students who are presenting at international conferences. Check with your department and the Faculty of Graduate Studies at your university.
