Cherry Smiley - Governor General's Award, Youth Recipient

Cherry Smiley is one of two youth recipients of the 2013 Governor General's Award in Commemoration of the Persons Case. The  Awards were created to celebrate the five women that led to the historic legal decision to have the word "person" declared to include both women and men, and to recognize individuals who have shown the courage and determination to significantly advance equality for women and girls in Canada.

Sophie Jarvis - EnRoute Air Canada Film Festival, Achievement in Direction Award Recipient

Sophie Jarvis', a School for Contemporary Arts 2012 grad, grad film, The Worst Day Ever, was one of sixteen short films selected for the enRoute Air Canada Film Festival. Each film plays for a month on all Air Canada flights.
