Kyle Ball

Interactive Arts and Technology student Kyle Ball is a content creator and videographer. His work experience has included a co-op placement at Microsoft.

Kyle was already making videos in his spare time when a friend told him about SIAT (SFU’s School of Interactive Arts and Technology). After enrolling, Kyle focused his studies towards Media Arts.

Although Kyle enjoys graphic design and photography, his main interest continues to be videography. “Videography has infected my life and I have zero regrets,” he reflects.

Participating in SIAT’s Co-operative Education program has helped Kyle confirm his career goals. Kyle describes his co-op placement at Microsoft Vancouver as a “5 star” experience. “It’s really a blessing when you can go to work and say you love your job.”

Kyle’s advice for new students is “Passion stands out. Find what you love and stick to it.”
