Biography

I am a sociobehavioural scientist who conducts action-oriented health research to better understand and meet the needs of underserved and vulnerable populations living with chronic long term conditions.

My current research focuses on self-management support, patient/community-based organization engagement in research, complex interventions, and diversity/equity and inclusion that I investigate using qualitative and mixed methods as well as concept mapping and realist synthesis approaches.

My collaborative and multi-disciplinary research teams include policy makers, practitioners, community-based organizations, students, and researchers at local, provincial, national and international levels.
