The SFU Faculty of Health Sciences and the Surrey Fire Fighters' Charitable Society invites you to an evening discussion on reducing the stigma of mental illness among South, East, and Southeast Asian men in Metro Vancouver on Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017.

Join Marina Morrow, Cindy Jiang, Peter Hoong, and Nimesh Patel from Strength in Unity: Men Speaking out Against Stigma, for a FREE talk on:

  • the important factors that shape Asian men's experience of stigma
  • the ways that social and individual stigma can be reduced in Asian communities
  • how we can work with men to support and maintain positive mental health in their communities
