Biography
Lawrence McCandless is a tenure-track assistant professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences at SFU and an associate member of the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Sciences. He completed a PhD in statistics in 2007 at the University of British Columbia and postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Imperial College London.

Research Interests
Dr. McCandless's research interests include epidemiology, meta-analysis and Bayesian statistics. He holds a Discover Grant from NSERC (2008-2013).
Teaching Interests
Biostatistics, epidemiological methods, Bayesian statistics.
