The ISC Honouring Feast is a special event held each year to honour and celebrate Indigenous students in their degree completion at SFU. Students who convocated in October 2016 or will be convocating in June 2017 are invited to attend.

iii) Giving Voice Concert

Curated by Sister Says, this all ages show combines a variety of musical styles including soul, blues, atmospheric, and hip-hop for a truly unique evening. This event invites people of all ages and backgrounds to celebrate the living cultures of the Northwest Coast.

iv) Xi xanya dzam Exhibition Opening

    Xi xanya dzam is the Kwak'wala word (pronounced hee hun ya zam) which describes incredibly gifted and talented people who create works of art.  Be among the first to see the remarkable works of the recipients of the BC Lifetime Creative Achievement Award for First Nations Art, enjoy live entertainment and meet some of the artists featured in this exhibition. Light refreshments will be served.       

        Current Exhibit Dates: April 5th, 2017 to September 4th, 2017
