Submit All Facilities Requests Online
We value your feedback. You have asked for a more user-friendly, more efficient way to submit online requests for all the services we provide and we listened. We have recently made changes to our website and we are pleased to announce that effective Tuesday May 21, 2013 all Facilities Services requests that are currently available only via paper form will now be accessible through online submission for the Burnaby campus. For example, the additional services that can be submitted online include:- Departmental Renovations (PIF) (Burnaby only);
- Event Setup Requests (Burnaby only);
- Signage Requests (Burnaby only);
- Moving Services (Burnaby only);
- Photocopier Paper (Burnaby, Surrey and Vancouver).
- Improved processing and response times.
- Immediate acknowledgement of Customer request
- Ability for customers to access their request history and check current request status.
- Ability to submit attachments
- Supports our department's sustainable objectives to reduce paper
- Single point of contact for all customer services;
- Improved communication about available services;
- Wizard style navigation;
How to Access the New Online System?
If you are already using the Online Service Form you can access the website with your current shortcuts or bookmarks. When you log onto the fmrequests.sfu.ca on or after May 21, 2013, you will simply see the new format showing the additional requests that are now available online.If you are new to submitting requests online to Facilities Services, you can access the online requests by logging on to fmrequests.sfu.ca with your SFU Computing ID.
