Project Standards and Procedures


Facilities Services publishes a Project Guide for Burnaby, a quick reference guide outlining basic facilities information that will be helpful for Departmental administrators, Consultants and Contractors who are planning or doing construction on Burnaby Campus. This Guide is a living document and will be updated regularly.

Facilities Services Best Practice Standards have been developed based on internal knowledge developed through field-tested performance, or required compatibility with existing (e.g. hardware, roofing assemblies), or to standardize specialties (e.g. signage and equipment labeling), or other operational requirements. These Standards also highlight measures where Facilities Services provides operational leadership in support of broad institutional goals such as Universal Access and Energy Use.
