This website showcases the electronic atlas projects completed in the Fall 2010 term by the students of the spatial information science course GEOG 351. Most of this year's projects centered around themes related to the Metro Vancouver region and were created from primary spatial data sources. The technologies used include multimedia Flash animation, HTML, CSS, ArcGIS, image processing, and the Geoweb.

The students in this course developed knowledge and skills in the areas of multimedia cartography theory and practice; stand-alone and web based mapping techniques; design and development of electronic atlases, web-page design and implementation, critical thinking and problem solving; independent, active and collaborative learning; individual and team project management; as well as written presentation competence.
