Every study will always have its limitations in either the design, methodology or the interpretation of the results. There can be multiple problems/limitations regarding my study and they include the following:
The sample size for the data was limited to a one months time period. Earthquakes happen daily and can happen at anytime. Having a bigger sample size can depict more clearly a risk analysis.
Accuracy of coordinates in the earthquake events. Conversions and the use of reference systems can distort accuracy to a certain extent.
Reliability of the interpretation of the data: Depth of the epicenter of the earthquake was not taken into account. Therefore we cannot accurately depict the travelled distance of the seismic waves (P and S waves)
Buffer only accounted for a general concensus of the impact and did not account for the variation in magnitudes of the earthquake.
