When weighting the six factors the rent factor definately appeared as the most important one. The height of the rent must be affordable and suitable or will else be subtituted by distance. This means students may rather choose longer travel times than paying really high rents. Thus the weight of the rents factor is about 0.4.





Nevertheless, the second important factor i think is distance to SFU, in this case weighted with about 0.3. When travelling far distances each day high costs of energy and time are implied. Students have to consider carefully about time and money. The other factors are only minorly influencing the descision. The factors did not need to be standardized anymore as I did in each step.
