About Habitat Maps for Insectivore Birds

Lauren Macfarland and Olga Lansdorp are working on their master’s degrees. Each is researching the population decline of the Lewis’s Woodpecker and the Barn Swallow respectively. The purpose of this project is to spatialize the data that the clients had collected as well as to collect additional data relevant to their research. This data will allow the clients to explore potential factors of population decline from a spatial perspective that otherwise would have been unexamined. The report itself is divided into two parts, each focusing on a specific bird.
